who is fondly called 'Claire-Bear', by her adoring family.
The theme for this 1st birthday party was... Teddy bears, of course!!

The color scheme for Claire-Bear's 1st birthday was Pink & Turquoise!

Decorated with adorable handcrafted sugar teddy bears, stylish bows & delicate flowers.

This is a moist Strawberry Cake, with smooth White Chocolate Ganache Filling,

layered with fresh strawberries. 

The coordinating 'Smash Cake', created especially for the little birthday girl to enjoy 

at her a 1st Milestone birthday!

Cool Motorbike Cake!

This Custom designed birthday cake was a special surprise 

for a unique young lady's 23rd Birthday.

 She loves motorcycles & also races them! 
The motorbike on this cake is a handcrafted sugar replica 

of the bike that she owns.

Gymnastics Cake

A beautiful custom designed cake for a 'Gymnastics' themed birthday party.

The adorable little gymnast is poised on top of the cake gracefully twirling a ribbon...
She is handcrafted from sugarpaste & is completely edible!

 with smooth & decadent chocolate ganache filling.

Fire Truck & Dalmation 1st Birthday Cake!

This adorable cake was custom designed for a little boy's

 Fire truck themed 1st birthday party.

The loyal Dalmatian has long been a firefighter's companion.

 It is a symbol of the fire service...

and of course, it doesn't hurt that black & white looks great with red!! 

Everything on this cake is handcrafted and edible.

organized by Connecticut's Domestic Violence Crisis Center (DVCC).

'Denim & Diamonds' Gala event.

'The Cinderella Story'... A Birthday Cake

This cake is a re-creation of the classic Cinderella Story!

It was custom designed for a little girl's Cinderella themed Birthday Party. 

Vintage style porcelain figurines are used along with 
edible handcrafted details to complete the magical fairy tale saga!

Cinderella goes to the ball in a beautiful coach... 

But the spell is broken at midnight!

With a swirl of silver fairy dust, a pumpkin is transformed into an elegant coach,

 a mouse is transformed into the coach man, and

 Cinderella's rags are replaced by a beautiful ball gown!

Dora The Explorer Birthday Cake

for a young Dora The Explorer fan!

Dora and Backpack are surrounded by

i.e., the adorable colorful

This custom designed Minnie Mouse birthday cake 

was made for a little girl's 4th birthday party.

This little girl's mom loved the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse cake,

The Father-to-be grew up on a farm in Ireland.

So, it was an almost obvious choice to select a 'Farm' theme for the nursery,

and of course, have a 'Farm' themed Baby Shower!

This adorable cake was custom created for the expectant couple!

A black & white cow was the only request... 

 the rest of the cake design was left entirely up to me.

I got really creative & had fun with this cake!

All the farm animals are delicately hand-crafted from sugarpaste.

The little birthday boy loves fire trucks!!

He has alot of fire truck toys that he really enjoys playing with...

So, for his 2nd birthday party, his mom requested  a

3-Dimensional fire truck cake, that resembles a cute toy fire truck!

This is what I designed for the special event.

This cake was custom designed for a 'Pink Princess Party'.

 Princess Aurora Doll Cake.

Design Inspiration for the cake:

The adorable birthday invitation, that was sent out to guests

 for this 'Car' themed birthday party.

The birthday boy loves cars!!

A beautiful perfectly coordinated cake,

 with fun, edible, hand-crafted details.

mimicking the cars on the birthday invitation.

 This cake is a delicious vanilla sponge cake, 

 filled with a rich & creamy chocolate butter cream filling.

The cake is frosted in vanilla sugarpaste, 

which is layered over a base layer of vanilla butter cream.

Tennis Anyone? A Tennis Cake & Tennis Cupcakes too!

This tennis themed birthday cake, was custom designed

for a young tennis enthusiast.

It truly captures the essence of tennis,

 with two rackets ready for a game & tennis balls bouncing off the court!

All the details are hand-crafted and edible! 

This is a delicious Vanilla Sponge cake, with decadent Dark Chocolate Ganache filling.

The custom designed coordinating tennis themed cupcakes

 were individually created for each child at the party.

There was an extra special, cupcake for the birthday boy, of course!
